CLEAN 15 & THE DIRTY DOZEN

The Enviormental Working Group publishes a list each year of fruits and vegetables known to contain the highest and lowest amounts of pesticide called THE DIRTY DOZEN and CLEAN 15 to help consumers prioritize their organic food budget. Please refer to the chart for the fruits and veggies that are most important to buy organic:

DIRTY DOZEN: Apples, Bell Peppers, Celery, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers,
Grapes, Nectarines, peaches, Potatoes, Snap Peas, Spinach,
Strawberries

CLEAN 15: Asparagus, Avocados, Cabbage, Cantaloupe, Cauliflower, Eggplant,
Grapefruit, Kiwi, Mangos, Onions, Papaya, Pineapples, Sweet Corn,
Sweet Peas, Sweet Potatoes
